Sometimes there are opportunities to have coaching financially supported. Here you can find ways this might work. Employer-funded Coaching and Supervision

Many employers actively support their employees through coaching or supervision, especially when workload, responsibility, or organizational change create additional pressure. The goal is to strengthen you in your professional role, protect your wellbeing, and expand your career opportunities.

  • What can be funded? Stress management and resilienceSelf-organization and clarity in daily workSupport during overload or complex demandsSupervision (especially in helping professions), etc.

    Also relevant outside helping professions: 
    during organizational change, workplace conflicts, leadership development, new role transitions, or when teams need new structures, goals, or ways of working, etc.

  • How does it work? Talk to your employer or the HR department. Many companies have budgets for professional development, supervision, or health promotion that can be used.
     

AVGS Coaching (Activation and Placement Voucher)

With an AVGS voucher, you can access coaching to gain employment, reorient yourself professionally, or develop your career with intention. Available in Berlin on-site or online throughout Germany.

  • Who is eligible? People registered with the Employment Agency or Jobcenter as job seekers, including individuals who will soon be unemployed or who want to make a career change.

Personal Budget

This option allows you to choose the support that fits your needs, including coaching.

Job Coaching (§ 49 SGB IX)

Support directly at your workplace, including involvement of your work environment to address and manage disability-related limitations.

  • Who can apply? People with disabilities or health-related limitations who want to secure or further develop their position at work.

Vocational Rehabilitation (Participation in Working Life)

Support for training, retraining, or qualification — coaching can be part of the process.

Integration and Inclusion offices

These offices support people with severe disabilities or equal status, for example with workplace assistance or technical aids.

Mixed models / combinations

Many pathways can be combined: part of the coaching can be funded through official programs, while the remaining costs can be covered privately.
